Since posting my E-Book review the other day on “Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle“, I have gotten a lot of emails. “Mica, do you actually think it’s a good book?” – YES! I do which is why I recommend it. Also, “Mica, what other E-Books I recommended?” Well, to be honest that was the only one I’ve read that I really DO recommend (I am picky with what I promote). So I decided to stop procrastinating and to buy a NEW E-Book that I’ve been wanting to read.
Have you ever heard of “The Magic Hundred Program“? I heard of it while watching some fitness dvd’s a client of mine let me borrow. “The Magic Hundred” is written by a guy named Dax Moy who was inspired by the real life Indiana Jones. “John Goddard” lived a life most people could never even dream of.
John Goddard made a list when he was 15 years old of 127 totally amazing, inspiring and OUTRAGEOUS goals of every possible description.
Goals like:
- Explore the Nile, Amazon, Congo Rivers, etc.
- Study Primitive Cultures in the Congo, Brazil, Kenya, Nigera, Alaska, etc.
- Climb Mount Kilimanjaro, The Matterhorn, Mount Kenya, etc.
- Lean to fly a plane
- Visit the Galapagos Islands, The Taj Mahal, Great Wall of China, etc.
- Dive in a Submarine, Fly a blimp, play the flute, learn jujitsu, teach a college course, write a book, run a mile in 5 minutes, do 20 pull-ups, milk a poisonous snake, etc. etc. etc.
It was the ultimate life’s “to do” list.
Long story short this real life indiana jones accomplished well over a 100 of the goals (even the ones posted above – yes!) on his original list and and EXTRA 400 new goals too.
How does this story NOT inspire you? Well, Dax Moy was intrigued but he wanted success faster than 40 years and thus began “The Magic Hundred ” Program.
This isn’t you ordinary motivational, goal setting book. It’s not simply a “think positive” book either. I have read PLENTY of those books already and yes they are great, however – this book is ACTION oriented.
The premises – to complete 100 goals in 100 days. Sounds simple and straight forward right?? Well, you could try to go at it alone, but Dax helps you make those goals and shows you how to take solid action on those goals.
For those of you who know me you all know that I am very goal oriented. I keep myself very busy and strive to be the best. Well, here is my challenge. I have just completed reading the book and witting my list. WHEW…. That was not as easy as I thought it would be. Regardless I now have Dax Moy in my email in-box each morning giving me instructions, audio for my ipod, worksheets, and it even came with a software program (I haven’t even gotten to that part yet but it looks pretty in depth).
My goal in doing this is not only to self improve ME as a person, but to learn how to motivate and help YOU succeed too in reaching your health and fitness goals.
If you can afford the $99 bucks I would do it – Invest a $1 a day towards the success of reaching your goals. Relationship, health, adventure, educational and financial goals. I will be posting my progress on my blog on a regular basis and we will see how I succeed within the next 100 days. Let’s do this together!
